The KR1

A great board to pull out when the waves are pumping! The KR1 is a true performance step up. An elliptical outline with a pulled in round pin tail and narrower nose, high continuous rocker profile, low profile “soft rails, and single concave throughout. One of the special design tactics I used in this board is actually in the foil. This board is foiled 1/8” thicker at 18” from the nose than it is at 18” from the tail. This really helps the boards ability to paddle and catch waves sooner. The rails in the nose are still shaped really low so when its dropping in late it is still engaged in the face of wave. This small little trick in the foil accompanied with a slightly extended entry rocker really help this board pull of some magic.

The KR1 can catch waves easily and be exactly where you need it to be. Its made to be ultra reliable under your feet so when you are taking steep drops or locked in on the tube of your life- the board is the last thing on your mind. Complete trust in your surfboard in being able to focus on the waves, where you want to be, and how you want to surf them is the goal with this board. In solid surf you need to trust your equipment and the KR1 will give you just that.

Order about anywhere from 6”- 20” longer than your normal shortboard. We can play around with sizing quite a bit with this model. Stock dimensions below are for if you want to order about 16” longer than your standard shortboard
