The Freewheeler

The Freewheeler is classic mid-length. Made to be super accessible to all surf ability levels. A reliable all rounder for any surfer. Great first board for beginners, older guys who need more foam, or any surfer just looking to catch a lot of waves and have fun. Don’t sleep on this boards ability to turn. It is quite surprising the critical turns and radical surfing you can pull off on a bigger board. Super versatile in a wide range of surf. From knee high to double overhead.

As far as design elements we have the wide point 1” forward of center with a wider/fuller nose template and thicker foil forward. We have a pretty pulled in tail template with a thinner foil and pretty low rail. This combo really helps the board glide into waves easy but still have bite into the face of the wave off the tail and maintain the boards ability to do turns. The rocker has a stretched out speed box through the center section with a mild flip in the nose and the tail. The board really can haul down the line but the bit of flip in the rocker will keep the nose from pearling and the tail can fit the more curvy sections of the wave. Mild vee bottom help this board keep speed and roll edge to edge with ease.

Order the Freewheeler about 12-18” longer than you are tall. Stock fin set up is a single with side bites.
